John Joseph Cascone is a third generation Floridian that has been a Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar for 20 years.
He has practiced criminal defense for 29 years since 1984 in both Houston, TX and North East Florida. He graduated from South Texas College of Law with a J.D. and the University of North Florida with a B.A. in History. With a background in journalism, he served as Production Manager on UNF's student newspaper and as editor of South Texas College of Law's Annotations, delivered throughout Houston's legal community.
John and his family have been in Nassau County for 24 years making The Historic District of Fernandina Beach their home.
LISA BARBER
Long time assistant Lisa Barber has worked for attorneys since she was 17 years of age. Her first job was just out of high school in Bowling Green, Kentucky with the law firm of Milliken & Milliken where she learned a wide range of different types of law. She joined John in 2001 where she has learned many aspects of the criminal justice system. Her training and experiences enable her to assist clients with their questions and concerns during the progression of their cases.
